The WFDA Association Health Plan is exclusive to WFDA members only! The WFDA Association Health Plan allows practices to be underwritten outside of “community rating.” This means there will be health underwriting and your group will be rated accordingly, unlike ACA plans which do not take existing conditions into consideration. WFDA membership needs to be active to qualify. 2024 WFDA renewal needs to be complete. Does my firm have to join the Association Health Plan? No. This is a completely optional benefit for our members to utilize. You may, however, find the rates to be very competitive compared to your current health plan. Who is the Insurance Carrier?
