Exhibitor FAQ's

Frequently Asked Questions for Exhibiting Sponsors

1)      What is a Sponsor?

Sponsors are valuable partners of the WFDA.  Every vendor who wishes to exhibit their products and meet funeral directors from across the state automatically becomes a sponsor by registering and paying the sponsorship fee.

2)      Where is the vendor registration?

Vendor and sponsorship registration is the same.  By registering and paying all vendors are sponsors.

3)      How much does it cost to sponsor?

There are two levels of sponsorship:

Premier Level Sponsor = $3,000

Director Level Sponsor = $500

4)      What do I get for sponsoring?

Through a sponsorship, vendors become honorary WFDA members for their year of sponsorship. Vendor companies and associates who provide their individual email will receive the bi-weekly WFDA newsletter, Spotlight Express, along with other WFDA correspondences to stay up to date with the Association and its members.  The Annual WFDA Convention is the largest gathering of funeral directors in WI and members travel from across the state to attend. Lunch is included for vendor associates both days.

Premier Level Sponsor = In addition, premier sponsors receive:

-          Choice of convention event to sponsor

-          Sign with company logo displayed by chosen sponsored event

-          up to 3 - 8’ tables

-          bring up to 6 associates

-          ½ page ad in the annual WFDA Directory

-          logo will appear in the bi-weekly WFDA newsletter

Director Level Sponsor = In addition, director sponsors receive:

-          logo in convention materials

-          1 – 8’ table

-          Bring up to 2 associates

5)      When can I set-up?

Vendor set-up is on Monday from 3PM – 7PM.  If you cannot make it on Monday, vendors can set up from 7Am – 8AM on Tuesday morning.

6)      When can I pack up?

Education sessions are held in the same room as the vendor booths.  The last session will wrap up around 4:00 PM on Wednesday and vendors are asked to wait until then to pack up as not to disturb the attendees and speakers.

7)      When will attendees be visiting the booths?

Funeral director attendees will have time to visit booths throughout the day, both days.  There are extended lunches and hour long breaks scheduled throughout the day.  Lunch both days is casual and served in the convention hall providing the attendees more time to check out your display.  Also, there is a President’s Reception held Tuesday evening right after the last educational session.  This is a fun, relaxed event with cash bar and appetizers where directors and vendors mingle and browse.  Wednesday morning there is ample time for browsing before the first session.

8)      Can I send different staff each day?

Yes. We understand you can’t always have people away from the business for two full days.  Please list all who will attend when registering.

9)      What if I want to sponsor but can’t make it to the convention?

Keeping your name and logo out there is important, but duty calls.  If you would like to sponsor at either level but cannot attend we are happy to distribute your company’s brochures in our convention materials and/or make them available to all attendees.  You will still receive all the benefits listed above, with the exception of those only provided the days of the convention.

10)   Where can I stay?

The WFDA has reserved a block of rooms.  Call the hotel directly to reserve and mention the WFDA convention.

11)   Can vendors be members of WFDA?

At this time the WFDA does not offer membership to vendors, only funeral homes.  By sponsoring though, you receive some of the WFDA benefits and get your name and company out there.  Funeral directors do a lot of networking and are always sharing ideas and information.  Sponsor today to be the next referral!

12)   I still have some questions.
